Terms of Service

Flick Camera sells disposable cameras through vending machines, develops your film, and delivers the digital scans to you through this site. By using flickcamera.com you agree to the terms below. If you don't, please don't use the service.

“Flick Camera”, “we”, or “us” refers to the operators of flickcamera.com and the Flick Camera vending machines in Hong Kong. “You” means anyone using the service or visiting the site.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, a parent or guardian should review these terms with you.

• Provide accurate information when you sign up.
• Keep your credentials secure. You're responsible for activity under your account.
• One account per person. Don't share your account or impersonate someone else.

The photographs on your developed rolls belong to you. We store and process them so you can view, download, and share them. We will not use your photos for marketing, publish them, or share them with third parties without your explicit permission. Photos submitted to the Community gallery are only displayed with your consent.

Developed rolls are available in your Lab for 30 days after development. You'll receive a reminder by email one week before the window closes and again on the final day. After 30 days, the scan files are deleted from storage. It is your responsibility to download photos you want to keep before that window ends.

When using Flick Camera, don't:

• Use the service for anything illegal.
• Abuse, disrupt, or attempt to break the service.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or bypass authentication and rate limits.
• Submit content that is unlawful, infringing, or designed to harm others.
• Attempt to access another user's account or photos.

We aim to keep the service up and running, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may take the site offline for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for lost photos if you don't download them before the retention window ends.

Cameras are sold at vending machine locations listed on the Locator. Payment, refund, and exchange terms at the vending machines are as displayed at the point of sale. Once film has been developed and scanned, camera sales are final.

We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms or abuses the service. You can close your account at any time by emailing info@flickcamera.com.

Flick Camera is a growing project, so features may change, be added, or be removed. We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated by email to subscribers. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Hong Kong.
